About Me

Hi, I’m Caleb Riddlesperger, a Computer Information Systems graduate with a strong foundation in web development, design, and programming. My journey into the tech world has been hands-on and varied, from building responsive websites with WordPress and Divi to creating custom plugins and functions using PHP and JavaScript. Currently based in Troup, Texas, I’m always on the lookout for opportunities to grow and expand my knowledge across multiple programming languages and frameworks.

My technical skill set includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, and an understanding of advanced tools and platforms like Langchain, OpenAI APIs, Flask, and ChromaDB. I’m passionate about delivering clean, efficient, and user-focused websites, and I bring a blend of creativity and technical expertise to every project I take on.

Experience and Projects

As a full-time web developer at PromoMedia LLC, I gained hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end development, creating engaging and functional websites. My recent capstone project at the University of Texas at Tyler involved building a chatbot with Python, Langchain, and OpenAI, offering me a deeper dive into data-driven solutions and UI/UX design. I’ve also worked on a variety of projects, from developing a MySQL database for a car dealership application to crafting custom healthcare software in Java.

In addition to my tech experience, I’ve worked in engineering and quality assurance roles, where I developed a strong attention to detail, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and a knack for efficiency. I bring this same precision and dedication to my web development work.

Community and Values

Outside of work, I enjoy giving back to my community. For several years, I organized the Whitehouse Car and Truck Show, an annual charity event that raised over $4,300 for local causes. This experience taught me the importance of organization, communication, and community engagement—skills I bring to my professional life.
